Shipping and returns policy


When you place an order for an Avows product you will receive a confirmation email. Processing will then take between 1-3 business days* after the confirmation email has been sent. The item will then be shipped. The shipping time will depend on the courier. We currently offer shipping through Royal mail and you can choose between;

2nd class service, £2.99 (a few business days)
48 hours tracked service, £3.29 (2-3 business days)
24 hours tracked service, £3.99 (1-2 business days)

Please note we only offer shipping to the United Kingdom.
*A business day is Monday- Friday between 9am-5pm, this excludes national holidays


You can return a product purchased within 14 calendar days of receiving the item, so long as the item has not been used and there are no broken seals.
You will need to pay for the return shipping and contact us at with subject line ‘RETURN’, please include your order number.

Please note, we do not take any responsibility for damage in transit, so ensure the item is properly packaged. If when we receive the item, it is damaged, we will offer a reduced refund.
Please ensure you obtain proof of return, as we do not take responsibility if an item is lost.
When we have received the product and see that the product has not been used, we will be able to initiate the refund.


Unfortunately we do not offer exchanges. If you change your mind on your order, you can return it and place a new order for the desired item within 14 days of receipt. The original item must be unused to get the full refund.

Damaged products

We hope your candle reaches you well and that you enjoy the experience but we understand that sometimes not everything goes as smoothly.
If your product is delivered damaged we can arrange for a replacement of the same product purchased. You will have 48 hours after receiving the product to initiate a replacement, please email with subject line ‘REPLACEMENT’, including proof of damage and your order number. 
We will then review the proof of damage and get back in touch.

Lost packages

We currently use Royal mail as our courier. You can choose between the 24 hours tracked and 48 hours tracked service or 2nd class service. If you opt for the tracked service we will be able to look into where your package is. Please email with subject line ‘LOST PACKAGE’, please include your order number and the date of purchase.
If you opt for the 2nd class service we will unfortunately not be able to track the item.
